I recently stayed at this Sonesta Hotel in Torrance, CA. I stayed in a king room and had a balcony overlooking the pool area. I usually stay by LAX, but decided to stay in a more local area. There are numerous dining, shopping, and gym options minutes away via car. This hotel is right off of Route 405 south and only 10 miles from LAX. This hotel is also just short drives to Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Torrance Beach. I truly enjoyed my very relaxing stay at this Sonesta Hotel. I will be booking here for my next trip to the LA area.

This Place is a Great Place to stay ...We had a King room which was awesome. we weren't in the room very long and didn't have a chance to use the pool because we traveled all around even to San Diego. We also ventured all around LA and saw the HOLLYWOOD sign , Beverly Hills , RODEO DR , Walk of Stars and the Buffy the Vampire Hellmouthcom in Torrence. FREE PARKING Great Location close to the highway and Torrence was a beautiful place also I JUST WISH THE FRONT COFFEE AREA WAS OPEN LONGER IS ALL we either left too early and missed it or woke up to late an missed it . But when we did catch it open had a great warm croissant an coffee .

Here’s the revised version with grammatical corrections: We stayed one night here. I liked the interior lobby furniture, its setting, and design. It felt cozy and was a nice place to spend time with a group. Our room was a king bedroom. The room was spacious and comfortable overall. However, I did notice some issues with cleanliness. There were two long black hairs on the sheets, and the bathroom wall and door were full of stains, hairs, and dirty splashes that had been left uncleaned. These could have been easily addressed but were overlooked, which made me question how sanitary the bathroom really was. Breakfast came with two coupons per room. There was a Starbucks stand taking orders, but only one person was handling all the guests. The service was slow, and the staff member seemed tired. In general, we liked the atmosphere of the hotel, but attention to cleanliness and service could be improved.

The service from the staff is very good, the room is normal, very clean, although the sink drain was a bit clogged and took a while to empty. The breakfast should be a bit more varied; it was just coffee, some pastries (muffin or croissant), and cereal.

Its my second time staying at this brand hotel. (My First time in LA) The hotel bones are seasoned. They've adequately updated it. The primary halls show traffic patterns and could benefit from a good shampoo. The staff are fantastic. Free parking. No airport shuttle. No free breakfast, but has a small bistro. The hotel is across the street from/within walking distance from Chick-fil-a, Shake Shack and Panera Bread (otherwise right off hwy but feels like an industrial-type location). The rooms do not have usb charging ports (just one in the alarm clock). The rooms were clean and spacious. It was quiet. There were a couple of small stains on the furniture and i feel like the TV channels were limited (although they had all of the basic premium stations... maybe it was that nothing was really on to watch). Would stay again.

Booked this for one night prior to a cruise. At the time it was a considerable value even factoring in cost of transport to the port. At least 100$ cheaper than closer options and as you got closer and things filled up, it remained a good option based on price. Off the 405 - like RIGHT off. - which would make it a great stay if you are wanting accessibility to other areas. Not a lot in the area. Walmart about 3/4 mile walk. Asian grocery store which was fun - I bought $13/lb grapes. lol. Also some basic fast food. Walking is fine as far as sidewalks and I felt safe during the day walking alone but a LOT of traffic to be vigilant of as you walk. Hotel desk staff was friendly and efficient. Checked in quickly. Hotel itself needs some work. It’s just looking a little run down. Not dirty but like basic maintenance is needed all over. Room was nice - I had a king which came with a sofa as well as a little balcony. The view was just the pool however. But nice to be able to look out or get some fresh air. Again maintenance was lacking in the room. It was fine overall but the shower plumbing needed some TLC and there were some big cracks in the tile work. Fridge worked but was crammed in a cabinet too small for it so you had trouble opening the door and it leaked. Problem you have with all hotel rooms is the walls are paper thin. There were some groups of young men - maybe college sports? - staying and they were quite loud in the room next door. I turned into a “Karen” at one point and banged on the wall and they did quiet down some. Then later a bunch were rambunctious in the hall and someone came to reprimand them and then I didn’t hear them anymore. No idea if it was staff or chaperones. Has a Starbucks and a little bar area that serves some food but I didn’t visit. Overall an okay stay for a good value for one night.

Hallway carpeting-flooring needs updating, but is uncharacteristic to the room, other than that, hotel is overall a nice place to stay. Easy access to freeway. We stayed there twice at different times and both stays were nice.
